Hi – I’m some! I’m the one behind the backyard chicken petition in Cambridge, Ontario, where I grew up surrounded by trees, big yards, and quiet streets. While the city has grown rapidly in recent years—welcoming new residents, building more housing, and evolving its bylaws around things like tiny homes and multi-residential living—I believe there’s still space for nature, too.

Real estate, farm life, and sustainability are all close to my heart. And while backyard chickens might not be for everyone, they represent something important: a connection to the land, a slower pace, and a more intentional way of living.
