Momentum Builds: 848 Signatures and a Period Box Launched in Kaduna

Thanks to your continued support, our petition has now reached 848 signatures — every single one a powerful push toward change.

Here’s What’s New:

Pilot Period Box Launched:
We’ve successfully set up a Period Box at a girls’ secondary school in Kaduna, providing emergency sanitary products to students during school hours.

Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025:
On May 28, we reached over 1,000 girls with practical education and support through our menstrual hygiene workshop. This milestone strengthens our mission to break stigma and promote dignity.

Growing Public Support:
We now have 848 signatures — and counting! Each one strengthens our voice as we prepare to present the petition to the Kaduna State Ministry of Education.

Next Steps:

• Secure a meeting with the Ministry of Education to propose lasting solutions.
• Continue collecting data on school attendance and performance linked to menstrual product access.
• Expand outreach to more schools and communities across Kaduna State.
