I am excited to say that Cr Tom Morrison - Mitcham Councillor, Park Ward’s proposal to fund a Bike Strategy and Accesibility Plan was successful at tonight’s council meeting � This means that cycling will not be folded into the integrated transport plan instead it will be a stand alone plan that addresses the needs of all cycling disciplines in our area! Thank you to everyone who signed the change petition. Thank you also to Darren Kruse - Councillor for Craigburn Ward, Mitcham Council and all Mitcham councillors who voted in favour of it. Cr Jane Bange had put forward a special projects budget that did not include the study but thankfully this was voted down allowing the way for our study to be included � Now, go out and get on your bike!
