Dear all, Thanks for supporting the petition demanding ITV cancel their affiliation with Dapper Laughs. Hopefully the public outcry against ITV will ensure that a 2nd season won't appear on our screens and that future content decisions are clearly filtered on this basis: televizing incitements to objectify, harrass, assault and rape women is wrong. Simple. So far the petition has gained over 40,000 signatures since Friday afternoon and UK print and digital media have got behind it. Yet, I still haven't had a response from either Adam Crozier, Chief Executive of ITV, or ITV2's press office. Their silence is deafening - maybe they're hoping this will blow over? So, how about we find out just how many people agree that ITV has breached its own ethical policy and is actively promoting harmful role models to young men and women? I have raised the target to 100,000 which at this rate we'll probably reach before the end of the week. Please keep sharing, tweeting and talking about this to your friends, families and co-workers to ensure we force ITV to respond with an apology and back down. If you are on Twitter you can raise your concerns about ITV's endorsement of misogyny and rape culture with some of the sponsors who appeared on ITV2 during the commercials breaks for Dapper Laughs: On The Pull. The list includes: @xboxone @kelloggsUK @argos_online (the advert featured @lego_group, @barbie, @peppapigUK, @fisher-price) @Nowtv @MSCloud Let's #canceldapper Tom
