Answer to query regarding chipped money

When you chip in on Change.org, the money is used by the company to promote that specific petition, increasing its visibility and helping it gain more signatures. The funds do not go to the petition starter but instead contribute to Change.org's infrastructure, which allows them to distribute petitions to more people within their community to gain traction and attention.
