some changes and the chimps still need your help
Dear friends and supporters,
I want to bring you up to speed by pointing you in the direction where you will find all the changes regarding Project Chimps and the allegations against them.They have filed a law suit against the whistle blowers. I would like to ask that you use your voice in that direction as it has great momentum and hopefully some resolve very soon. Hopefully they will drop the suit and attend to the problems that the sanctuary gas so gravely created. Please follow the links below and continue to support the people who brought the horrible situation at PC into the light and for the chimps. These Chimps deserve the life they were promised. We had our first hearing yesterday on the lawsuit from Project Chimps. The court did not yet grant Project Chimps' motion to silence us, which is a small victory, but we are in for a long fight.
Since so many of you have contributed to the Go Fund Me for our legal fees, we wanted to share the filings made by our attorneys in response to the lawsuit. They filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit because it infringes on our right to free speech and is improper for many reasons. We're sharing this with permission from our attorneys.
The next hearing is July 8 and this could turn into an expensive fight if the lawsuit isn't dropped or dismissed. Please consider helping Lindsay
and I as we continue to push forward and speak up on behalf of the chimps. We don't want a culture of silencing whistleblowers to continue.
For 3 years I was, among other things, the photographer for the sanctuary. In this video are some of the beautiful faces I got to know over the years. I loved my job, but I love these chimps more, and I'll continue to do all I can for them. I've gained nothing from this and I don't stand to benefit in any way. I just want these chimps to get everything they were promised.
