The shallow pond behind DPS school / NRI complex Navi Mumbai, is slowly drying up. Till few days back during high tide everyday water used to accumulate on this site. Now it is slowly drying. This is also a visit area for the migratory birds. Locals say, land mafia is eyeing this spot for land acquisition.
