Systematic degradation of Area behind NRI Complex.

For last one year the systematic effort is being done by some government authority to destroy and change the nature of area behind NRI Complex in Sector 56 . 1. FIR was filed in June 2016 when some people were caught on video destroying the mangroves . 2, In October 2016 complaint was filed when some people were caught on camera . They admitted that they were working under instructions of CIDCO officials. 3. This year the level of water is unusually low in the area behind NRI Complex. We have a reason to suspect that some authority has obstructed the ingress of water to this area. This has resulted in formation of muddy patches. Despite all the efforts by CIDCO to driveaway the birds still lot of flamingoes and other birds are coming to this area . 4. Unfortunately one the flamingo has been caught in the mud and is struggling to come out . The bird was being attacked by crows. If the problem of less water is not solved we may find many more flamingos getting stuck in the mud. Thanks for the rescue mission by Nmmc Fire Brigade and Navi Mumbai Forest Department.
