Dear Friends of Democracy,

Thank you for signing the Let Hampshire Vote petition.  We have got off to a great start and are approaching 300 signatures this evening. 

We certainly do need to get word out that the people of Hampshire are having their voice taken away this May.  Not many have heard that the May elections are going to be cancelled, as advocates for cancelling the election have done their best to keep this quiet. 

So please share far and wide.  Let's make sure as many people know about this damaging undemocratic move by the government and HCC.  Let your friends and family know. Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, you name it.  

If you haven't already done so please feel free to add your reasons for signing the petition, as this helps us demonstrate the strength of feeling out there.  This can be added at any time.

The Daily Echo has this online today (hopefully in tomorrow's print edition)
The Hampshire Chronicle has run a similar article which we hope will be in next week's Hampshire Chronicle, Romsey Advertiser and perhaps other local print editions
