署名人名簿と要望書を渡してきました Submission of the list of signatories and our request

2024年6月5日、東京・赤坂のサントリー芸術財団を、署名人一人とともに訪れ、119人の署名人名簿と要望書を渡してきました。

「選考委員の人選についての方針を変更する」という確約はとれませんでしたが、われわれの署名活動の要望は受け入れていただきました。

その際、選考委員の候補として、久石譲さんと吉松隆さん（両者とも「現代音楽」とは一線を画している人たちです）を提案しました。

芥川作曲賞の今後を見守っていきたいと思います。

I apologize for the delayed report, but as of May 23, 2024, our petition campaign has concluded. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

On June 5, 2024, I visited the Suntory Foundation for the Arts in Tokyo together with one of the petition signers to submit the list of signatories and our request.

Although we were unable to secure a commitment to "change the policy regarding the selection of jury members," our petition's request was accepted.

During the meeting, we proposed Joe Hisaishi and Takashi Yoshimatsu (both of whom distance themselves from "contemporary music") as candidates for the selection committee.
