新しい企画展示を見るために目黒区美術館へ行く。
今回の問題も含めて現状をよく見てきましたが、美術館は３５年前と変わらない本当に良い建築です。高松次郎、村上友晴、宇佐美圭司らの作品展示にも心に訴えかけるものがありました。穏やかな日常がそこには流れていてここが解体でもうすぐになくなる決定なんて-俄かには誰も信じられない。多くの区民も利用者もまだ知らない。

年数を経ても劣化を感じさせないように工夫して風化に強い御影石を使用しているそうです。
（撮影時は空いている午前中を選びましたが、年間では１.５万人ほどが利用している公立美術館です。）３月４日（土）の１４：００からは宇佐美さんの画業に関する講演会も開催されます。

また地下にある区民ギャラリーのスペースの方でも通常通りに絵画教室アトリエ展などが開催されており、今後もレンタル使用の予定が夏まで埋まっている状況でした。https://mmat.jp/public/gallery_exhibition_schedule.html
I went to the Meguro Museum of Art to see a new special exhibition.
I have had a good look at the current state of the museum, including this issue, and the museum is still the same really good architecture as it was 35 years ago. The exhibition of works by Jiro Takamatsu, Tomoharu Murakami, Keiji Usami, and others also appealed to me. It is hard to believe that this place will soon be demolished. Many residents and users of the district still do not know about it.
The building is said to be made of granite, which is resistant to weathering, so that it will not deteriorate over the years.
(We chose an empty morning when we photographed, but the public art museum is used by about 15,000 people a year.) A lecture on Mr. Usami's artwork will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 14:00.
