Japan as “a democratic, free, human right respecting country “has a duty to protect and respect the rights of children regardless of their background. They should not deport helpless children to countries they have never lived in and do not speak the language of! Their home is Japan, their families are in Japan. Children do not have access to the legal representation that they would need, and it is inhumane to deport them. It is unacceptable for Japan to continue to violate the rights of vulnerable children against the will and values of its people. WE DEMAND special residence status for children immediately.
「民主的で、自由で、人権を尊重する国」である日本には、その背景にかかわらず、子どもたちの権利を守り、尊重する義務がある。無力な子どもたちを、住んだこともなければ言葉も通じない国に強制送還すべきではない！彼らの家は日本にあり、家族は日本にいる。子どもたちは必要な法的代理権を利用することもできず、強制送還は非人道的だ。日本が国民の意思と価値観に反して、弱い立場にある子どもたちの権利を侵害し続けることは容認できない。私たちは、ただちに子どもたちに特別な在留資格を与えることを要求する。
