ものみの塔聖書冊子協会とは、輸血を拒否することで有名になった宗教団体の母体です。

世界本部はアメリカ、ニューヨーク州にあり、神奈川県海老名市に日本支部があります。

この宗教団体では、以前から長老や奉仕の僕（しもべ）らによる幼児性虐待が起きており、問題となっています。

カリフォルニア州では勇気ある女性が、裁判所に訴えて、現在係争中です。

一審では被害者への賠償金を700万ドル、組織としての懲罰的賠償金として2100万ドルの罰金を言い渡されて、上訴している状態です。

幼児性虐待は、加害者の長老や奉仕の僕、個人の問題ですが、組織は被害者が訴えてきたときに、誠実に対応しなかったことで、処罰の対象とみなされました。

通常そのような事件は被害者と加害者、二人だけのときに起こります。

そして、被害者が会衆の指導者に訴えても、加害者が罪を認めなければ、警察当局に通報されることもなく、今まで通り「エホバの証人」として、伝道などの活動に参加できます。

なおも、被害者が納得しなければ、被害者を排斥することで、組織や会衆を維持しようとします。

このような事件が起きていることに対して、ものみの塔は、末端信者には知らせていません。

そして、このような不祥事を抱える団体なのに、「神に導かれた唯一の組織」と宣伝し、寄付と冊子の配布を信者に要求しています。

このように、犯罪行為を黙殺し、末端信者に真実を告げず、寄付や伝道奉仕を強要する態度が許せません。

 

また、この組織にはいろいろな、嘘や聖書的ではない教理があり、それらをおかしいと言った人を、排斥します。

その排斥された人は、元の仲間から声もかけてもらえず、エホバの証人の家族からも無視されるなどの仕打ちを受けます。

これらの人道上問題のある規則についても正してほしいと思います。

 

Watchtower bible tract society is a religious group which is well known by refusing the blood transfusion.

International headquarter is located in New York in US, and Japanese branch office is located in Ebina city Kanagawa prefecture in Japan.

This religion has a problem of child sexual abuse by the elders and the ministerial servants for a long time.

In California a brave woman has charged WTS for their wrong policy, and now is in contestation.

In the lower court decision, WTS has been ordered to pay millions of dollars both in compensation and punitive damages. Compensatory damages of $7 million have been awarded, of which the Society must pay 40%. A further $21 million is due to be paid by the Society in punitive damages. Then WTS has appealed the case to a higher court.

The child abuse is a personal crime involving a ministerial servant, but WTS failed to handle the issue aright because of wrong policy not based on the Bible teachings. It is considered to be an object of the punishment.

Usually, such crime occur private setting with only two.

When the victim call for help to the congregation, if the perpetrator denies the criminal act, the congregation will do nothing.

The suspect won't be reported to the police, and can hold a good standing in the congregation, and can go door to door ministry.

The victim can't but fall silent.

If the victim voice the secret, she or he would be disfellowshiped.

Even though such a serious issue has been occurring, the WTS has kept it secret, not giving any info about the law suit to the rank and file JWs.

The WTS is going to pay the punitive damages from our world wide ministry donation.

We don't want the WTS to use our donation for such a purpose.

Even though the WTS has been troubled with the same problem which is common in the world in general, they arrogantly claim that they are the only the spirit directed God's organization.

From that high manner, they deliberately ignore the criminal act which damage their reputation, and ask laymen absolute obedience to their man-made policy and doctrine.

I won't approve such haughtiness.

They easily disfellowship anyone who has different view or opinion which weaken the consolidation of power for their man-made organization.

People fooled or indoctrinated by their teaching can't think and judge for themselves.

This is a big issue against human rights.

So I protest against the pseudo theocracy of the Watchtower.
