В Совет при Президенте Российской Федерации по развитию гражданского общества и правам человека Уважаемый Михаил Александрович! Уважаемые члены Совета по правам человека! Открытое письмо к вам — наш крик отчаяния. Дорогие нам люди — мужья, кормильцы, отцы наших детей, мирные, честные и отзывчивые люди — брошены за решетку по подозрению в том, что вместе с нами, с нашими детьми и друзьями читали заповеди Библии и молились Богу, чье имя записано в Библии как Иегова. На сегодняшний день в Следственных изоляторах России томятся уже 17 верующих. Один из них содержится под стражей уже более года. Ещё десятки верующих в 11 регионах России заключены под домашний арест и под подписку о невыезде. С каждым днём их количество постоянно увеличивается. Учитывая, что в России 175 000 последователей религии Свидетелей Иеговы, нас тревожит вопрос: сколько ещё десятков, сотен или тысяч узников совести требуется, чтобы окончить это несправедливое уголовное преследование людей за веру в Бога? Под предлогом борьбы с экстремизмом многим из нас, и даже нашим детям, омоновцы угрожали оружием, принуждали лечь на пол. В наших домах проведены обыски, у нас отобраны телефоны и компьютеры, что не дает нормально жить и работать. Конфискованы семейные фотографии, паспорта и другие документы, Библии. Правоохранительные органы пытаются заставить нас жить в страхе и вздрагивать при каждом стуке в дверь или вое сирены, ожидая ареста лишь за свою веру. Некоторые верующие уже изгнаны с предприятий после многих лет безупречной работы лишь с тем обоснованием, что организация Свидетелей Иеговы в России запрещена. Мы не можем найти ответ на вопрос: за что в нашей стране нас подвергают такой травле, и представители какой религии будут назначены следующими жертвами после нас? Преследование наших мужей за веру в Бога правоохранительные органы объясняют решением Верховного Суда Российской Федерации от 20.04.2017 года, которым ликвидированы все юридические лица Свидетелей Иеговы в России. Вместе с тем, и Министерство Юстиции РФ во время судебного разбирательства в Верховном Суде, и Правительство Российской Федерации после вынесенного решения неоднократно официально заявляли о том, что данное судебное решение не повлечет за собой нарушений прав граждан на свободу вероисповедания. Вышеуказанное решение Верховного Суда и в самом деле не запретило религию Свидетелей Иеговы в России, а касается исключительно юридических лиц. Тогда почему правоохранительные органы действуют вопреки воле правительства нашей страны? Кому в нашей стране сегодня выгодны массовые репрессии верующих? Почему наших родных обвиняют в тяжком преступлении с перспективой провести в тюрьме от 6 до 10 лет за мнимую экстремистскую деятельность по статье 282.2 УК РФ? Почему правоохранители ошибочно интерпретируют мирное исповедание веры в Бога как участие в экстремистской организации? Уважаемые члены Совета, помогите нам получить ответы на эти вопросы. В такой чудовищной обстановке многие из нас боятся за будущее своих детей. В нашей стране созданы предпосылки для отобрания детей у родителей, чья вера в Бога объявляется «неправильной». В этом свете очень тревожно звучат сообщения о том, что в учебных и медицинских учреждениях собираются данные о детях из семей Свидетелей Иеговы. Неудивительно, что практически каждую неделю целые семьи наших единоверцев бросают всё и, с целью спасения своих детей, бегут за границу просить политического убежища. В обмен на свободу и спокойную жизнь нам предлагают отречься от своей веры. Это не фигура речи — следователи в прямом смысле слова предлагают подписать бумагу, чтобы избежать наказания за «экстремизм»! В противном случае, по их словам, нам не помогут никакие адвокаты. Но мы не можем перестать верить в Бога. Это право, которым каждый человек обладает с момента своего рождения. Российская Федерация является многоконфессиональным государством, и мы, как граждане России, вправе рассчитывать на уважение и защиту наших прав со стороны государства. Мы не просим ни о каких особых привилегиях. Мы просим только об одном — пожалуйста, защитите наши права. Уважаемые члены Совета! Против целой религии, одной из крупнейших христианских религий в России, сейчас развязан настоящий террор! Попираются базовые права человека: право на свободу и личную неприкосновенность, право на достоинство личности, право на неприкосновенность частной жизни, право на неприкосновенность жилища, свобода совести и свобода мысли, свобода вероисповедания, право на частную собственность. Если не остановить надвигающуюся катастрофу, она произойдет у вас на глазах. Уверены, что вы сейчас в силах что-то предпринять! Dear members of the Council, help us to get answers to these questions. In such a monstrous situation, many of us are afraid for the future of our children. In our country prerequisites are created for the removal of children from parents whose belief in God is declared "wrong." In this light, there are very alarming reports that educational and medical institutions collect data on children from the families of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not surprising that almost every week entire families of our co-religionists drop everything and, for the purpose of saving their children, flee abroad to apply for political asylum. In exchange for freedom and a quiet life, we are offered to renounce our faith. This is not a figure of speech - investigators in the literal sense of the word suggest signing a paper to avoid punishment for "extremism"! Otherwise, they said, we will not be helped by any lawyers. But we can not stop believing in God. This is the right that every person possesses from the moment of his birth. The Russian Federation is a multi-confessional state, and we, as citizens of Russia, have the right to expect respect and protection of our rights by the state. We do not ask for any special privileges. We ask only one thing - please, protect our rights. Dear members of the Council! Against the whole religion, one of the largest Christian religions in Russia, now a real terror is unleashed! Basic human rights are violated: the right to freedom and personal inviolability, the right to personal dignity, the right to privacy, the right to inviolability of the home, freedom of conscience and freedom of thought, freedom of religion, the right to private property.
