Philip Hassler serves as the Board President for the McKinney Independent School District (MISD), holding the Place 2 position. His current term began in May 2021 and is set to expire in May 2025. Hassler holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Baylor University and a Juris Doctor from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Before joining the MISD Board, Hassler was the owner-operator of Chick-fil-A locations in Richardson and Arlington. He also worked as an underwriting manager at Regions Bank in Birmingham, Alabama, and had a career in the home building industry, serving as a construction project manager and president of Hassler Homes L.L.C.
