Mark White is an American musician and accomplished bass player, best known for his tenure as the bassist for the rock band Spin Doctors. In addition to his music career, he has collaborated with various musical groups, including America's Got Talent finalists The Robotix, The Heavy Pets, Eight53, and the Free World Jazz Ensemble. Beyond performance, he is dedicated to education, having taught at prominent rock and jazz schools like the Rockin' Robin Music Center in Houston, Texas. Academically, White holds a Bachelor's in Education from the University of Memphis and a Master's in Conflict Management from Lipscomb University. His career includes roles as a Conflict Management Facilitator and Principal at Harding Academy, as well as serving as a Representative for District 83 in the Tennessee House of Representatives. An advocate for atheist rights, he was a keynote speaker at the American Atheists National Convention in 2014.
