Josh Acevedo is an accomplished public figure with a diverse educational and professional background. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, a Master's in Political Science, a Master's in Public Administration, and a Doctorate in Education, all from The University of Texas. Acevedo has served in various capacities, demonstrating his commitment to public service and education. Notably, he was a CARES Engagement Manager and Program Manager at The University of Texas at El Paso. In his political career, Acevedo has been a Councilmember for District 2 at the El Paso City Council, and a Board Member for District 3 at the El Paso Independent School District. He also contributed to local governance as a Senior Administrative Assistant at El Paso County.
