James Gannon is a distinguished figure with a diverse background in public administration, law enforcement, and security. He holds a Master's in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice Administration from William Paterson University, and an Associate's in Law Enforcement from County College of Morris. He further enhanced his expertise with a Certificate from the FBI National Academy and other certifications in supervisory management and police training.Gannon has served as the Sheriff of Morris County, bringing his extensive experience in security and investigations. His career includes significant roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, where he was the Global Head of Security Risk, Director of Extremism and Risk Investigations, and Associate Director of Investigations and Compliance. He also contributed to the Joint Terrorism Task Force at the FBI and served as Deputy Chief of Investigations at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, starting his career as a patrolman in Boonton Township.
