Greek Government

The Greek Government operates under a parliamentary system with a President who serves as the head of state and a Prime Minister who is the head of government. The Hellenic Parliament is the country's primary legislative body, made up of 300 members who are elected by the public every four years. Their responsibilities include the creation of laws, supervising the government, and representing the citizens. Greece's government is divided into three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. Each branch works independently to serve the people and maintain the country's democratic principles. The Constitution of Greece, first established in 1975 and revised in 1986 and 2001, serves as the country's supreme law.
