Colin Zachary Allred is an American politician, civil rights lawyer, and former professional football player, born in 1983. He has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 32nd congressional district since 2019. The district covers the northeastern corner of Dallas and its suburbs, including Garland, Richardson, Sachse, Wylie, and the Park Cities. A member of the Democratic Party, Allred has a diverse career background, having played for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL and worked as an attorney at Perkins Coie. He also served as the Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Director of Voter Protection at Battleground Texas and was a Special Assistant at the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of General Counsel. Allred holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor's degree from Baylor University, and graduated from Hillcrest High School.
