Central Coast Council

The Central Coast Council is a local government area serving the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, established on 12 May 2016 following the amalgamation of Gosford City and Wyong Shire councils. The council's administrative seat is located in Wyong and it covers a vast diverse area with the Pacific Ocean coastline along the east, Lake Macquarie to the south and the Hawkesbury River acting as its southern border. With over 300,000 residents, the council area is characterized by a mix of urban, rural, and coastal communities. It plays a pivotal role in providing several public services, including town planning, public recreation facilities, water and sanitation services and more.
