Alex Ybarra is an American politician serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 13th district, which encompasses Lincoln, Kittitas, and parts of Grant and Yakima counties. A member of the Republican Party, Ybarra has represented his district since 2019. He holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Mathematics from Central Washington University. Before his political career, Ybarra gained extensive experience working as a Reliability CIP Manager and Senior Resource Analyst at Grant County Public Utility District, a Business Prospector at the Center of Sustainable Infrastructure, and a Rocket Scientist at Rocket Research Company. His diverse professional background complements his legislative work in Washington State.
