The site of the rezoning request is a commercial zone that the City Planning Committee has targeted as a commercial district. Rezoning will prevent future businesses use of this land. We do not want a charter school in the middle of this general business zone. We support new business in our community that will benefit all children and taxpayers, not a charter school that benefit a few.
