Rosko has been working as a K9 Police Officer with the Village of Geneseo, NY for the past four years. The Mayor of Geneseo Richard Hatheway has decided to remove Rosko from the service he was trained to do over a $4500.00 expense to the village.

We ask that the village of Geneseo to permit the Yasso family to keep Rosko as a family pet at NO CHARGE. And not to place Rosko up for public auction to the highest bidder. Rosko requires special handling, training and discipline due to his line of work and training. Placing him for auction is an inhumane way to create a living, breathing creature trained to protect in the line of duty.
