Grandmothers who work at Rite Aid are in a major battle against their employer. They are fighting hundreds of violations of federal law and a demand by management that they surrender their union health care coverage.

It's outrageous and hypocritical that a company in the health care business is attempting to deprive its own employees of affordable health care!   Rite Aid even admits that it can afford the existing health care benefits and its main competitor in northeast Ohio (CVS) has already agreed to a contract that is essentially identical to the one sought by the grandmothers.
