Toby was the beloved dog who belonged to Alle Noland, a 9-year-old South Carolina girl with autism. Last week Toby was kidnapped, beaten to death with a baseball bat, and his body was heartlessly dumped in the family's front yard.

As the Post and Courier explains, Alle and Toby were best friends. Toby took great care of the little girl - he had a calming effect on her and acted as her service dog. Animal abuse, cruelty, and murder can NOT be tolerated and the person responsible for Toby's death should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has said that they are investigating, but we need more attention on this case and more support from the public!
