Over the past year, the lions den prices have slowly been going up, and reducing what they're allowed to sell. This makes it much harder on students, as the lions den is the only place on campus that accepts cash. Plus, since the x-group has a monopoly on food on campus, they've been increasing their prices as well. For example, the mighty bellarmine muffin. 2014-15 school year, muffins from the lions den cost only one dollar. Then 2015-16, they went up to 1.50. Finally, this year, for a short while they were 2 dollars in the lions den, but now they cost 2.50 in the lunch line. This is a 150% increase in price! This is simply outrageous, and rampant profiteering must be stopped. #savecupnoodles
