Grant Nora C, Cintron (aka Tina) Leave To Remain in the UK

Grant Nora C, Cintron (aka Tina) Leave To Remain in the UK
The Issue
Nora Cintron (aka Tina) and Peter Makey have been, in a relationship since July 11th 2010,
Nora has been with Peter for a period of over two years in England; but due to current visa restrictions Nora has only been allowed to enter for periods of up to 6 months, after which she was required to leave the country. UK immigration rules now demand that she is to leave the UK by November 2014, following which she is recommended to apply for a visa ‘online’ (?) from the USA. This submission costs a punitive £850 and necessitates Peter to be earning over £18,600 a year; and to have untouched savings of between £35000 and £65000 for a period of over twenty four months prior to submission, in addition to having a permanent residence. Peter has suffered prior, unpaid and unassisted burdens as a carer which has made it impossible for him to maintain this financial pre-requisite throughout this period.
We the undersigned cannot see how it is in the wider public interest for Nora (Tina) Cintron to leave the UK.
We the undersigned, as concerned citizens knowing of the good character and standing of Nora Cintron (aka Tina) and Peter Makey, now urge upon the British Government through its duly appointed Secretary of State, the Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP, to act now and grant Nora C.Cintron indefinite leave to remain here in the UK on compassionate grounds.
We further call on the British Government to treat with compassion and due consideration, the family rights of British Citizens without visa requirements that impose undue formality, cost and inconvenience to both applicants.
