The Issue
I am petitioning to have a ban put on cat spikes. These are hard plastic spikes that are put onto fences to deter cats from using the fence. These are not regulated and there are no legal requirements for them to be fitted. I appreciate cats can be a nuisance but there are rubber alternatives, which are cheap and do the same job, without hurting a cat or any other animal that lands or walks on a fence.
