From this September school is compulsory for all 16-18 year olds. Yet Suffolk County Council charges £540 a year for rural young people to access the schools and sixth forms in towns. This isn't fair.

You provide free travel for all over 65 year olds regardless of whether they have cars or considerable savings yet charge children to go to school.

Educate the children of Suffolk! "No school is an island" is the county mantra. Well it is if the children cannot reach it. Why are you making it so difficult for Suffolk young people to access compulsory education by charging so much for it!

 Just make it free!   Then you will have a well educated and inspired generation of young people. Transport to school for 16-18 year olds is free in London - why can't Suffolk give young people the same fair opportunities to finish their compulsory education.
