We are SICK of ALL the Shootings and Killings of Our Family Pets! We NEED to Banned together and Make them Enforce a Rule that ALL Police Officers MUST get Training on How to Handle Family Pets WITHOUT Deadly Force! There are MANY Different Options and they ALWAYS goes for Deadly Force and they Leave MANY Families with Heartbreak! We NEED to END the Heartbreak! For this Particular Situations we WANT Deputy Kevin Berry Fired!

In Keavy, Kentucky on July 23rd around 9am I was in the bathtub takin a bath before work and before my 5 year old son woke up I thought I heard something but wasn't sure if I was hearing things or not so I just continued to take a bath when I heard someone knocking on my back door I tried to holler and say who is it but no one heard me I guess because they didn't answer me. I tried to hurry and dry myself off and find some clothes to put on so I could answer the door. When I finally went in the living room my son colton was awake saying there was a cop at the front door. When I opened the door my mother in law was standing there next 2 Deputy Kevin Berry an I said yes how can I help you? Then he proceeded to tell me that I had a neighbor call them about a mean stray dog in the area an described the dog to me and I told him I didn't have a clue what dog he was talking about. Than another police officer showed up which was Sergeant Josh Gaylor and he said now you know if your dog is in someone's yard they have every right to shoot it right? I said no they don't because my dog bella isn't mean you can ask anyone around here and then Deputy Kevin Berry and Sergeant Josh Gaylor went on their way. After they left my neighbor's across from me, they told me that Deputy Kevin Berry shot my dog bella as soon as he got out of his vehicle before he knocked on my door and asked me about the stray dog. I took off running with my son behind me crying. We found her in the backyard gasping for air an me and my 5 year old son had to sit there and watch her die. My neighbor came over when she finally gave her last breath and told us that when the Deputy shot bella she took off an he went around in my yard an driveway searching for the gun shell an looked at our trailer an our car to see if he hit either one when he fired his gun. My neighbor said after he looked around for quite some time he finally knocked on my door. He never even told us that he shot bella we would of never found out if it wasn't for my neighbor that seen the whole thing.
