Rick has been our dedicated postie for 21 years. Over more than two decades, he has become a deeply woven, irreplaceable part of our village community. To us, Rick is not just a postal worker doing a job—he is our friend, a daily lifeline, and the absolute heart of our neighborhood.

Why Rick is Irreplaceable to Our Village:

• More Than a Job: He is simply the best postman we have ever had—consistently friendly, chatty, kind, and incredibly helpful to everyone he encounters.
• Personal Connection: Rick knows every single household on his route personally. He greets us by name and even knows all of our neighborhood dogs by heart.
• Community Impact: He makes a massive, positive difference every single day, keeping a watchful eye on our elderly or vulnerable neighbors who look forward to his daily visits.

Our Demand to Royal Mail
We understand that postal networks require operational updates and route shuffles. However, replacing a postman with 21 years of deeply rooted community trust is a massive mistake that would leave our entire village absolutely devastated. You cannot replace the decades of local knowledge, safety, and joy that Rick brings to our doorsteps every morning.

We love Rick, and we refuse to let him be moved without a fight. We urge Royal Mail management to listen to the people who use their service every day, show some care for our community, and keep Rick on our village route.
