A Petition for Alternate Endings to the Mass Effect Trilogy

We, the undersigned, respectfully request the consideration of the following petition.

* Mass Effect is an interactive video game providing a detailed framework within which the player may create a unique story

* A major concept of the Mass Effect games is that your choices significantly affect the outcome of the story

* Another major concept of the Mass Effect games is success in the face of seemingly impossible odds

We believe:

* That it is the right of the writers and developers of the Mass Effect series to end that series however they see fit

However, we also believe that the currently available endings to the series:

* Do not provide the wide range of possible outcomes that we have come to expect from a Mass Effect game

* Do not provide a sense of succeeding against impossible odds

* Do not provide a sense of closure with regard to the universe and characters we have become attached to

* Do not provide an explanation of events up to the ending which maintains consistency with the overall story

We therefore respectfully request additional endings be added to the game which provide:

* A more complete explanation of the story events

* An explaination of the outcome of the decisions made, especially with regard to the planets, races, and companions detailed throughout the series

* A heroic ending which provides a better sense of accomplishment

To this end, many fans are also donating to the "Retake Mass Effect 3" Child's Play Charity drive in lieu of our signatures, in order to establish our sincerity, our love for these games, and for the Mass Effect universe.

We thank you for your consideration.

The ending contains too much unlogical things (crew,normandy...) and for an Ending of a Trilogy its too unclear with no future view.

+ As an Ending the choices throught the game should matter ( it has no point uniting the galaxy when the relays are destroy especially quanari and geth, when u cant destroy just reapers so it makes no point suporting EDI,geth....)

I actually was so eager for the game i bought the standard pack because there were no collecters editions in stock. i literilly could not wait 2 more days. but the ending just left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I am signing because I am personally offended that absolutely NONE of my choices mattered in the end. We were promised an ending the would be the culmination of all our choices and efforts into a radically different ending for each set of choices... Well we were lied to.

The mass effect trilogy were the best games I had ever played. I walked away from the first two games with an amazing sense of accomplishment, but the current ending to the third game is just terrible. It goes against everything the fans love and the writers had laid out for us before. Why should I play a game that makes me feel sick at the end? Bioware talks about "artistic integrity" but that's just to cover their asses. The ending of a blockbuster game is not the time to have a major writing fart, I don't know what reaction they were expecting from their fans when they released this. I don't know why they won't do what the majority of their fans are asking. It would be a win-win for both parties. We get the ending we want and they can make some money. As it stands I am not buying any more games or DLC from Bioware in the future no matter how high the rating are. Mass Effect 3 got a 10/10 from gameinformer and I walked away from it feeling like I had been punched in the gut.

The last 10 minutes of the game do not live up to the standard of all that was before it, in all games. The current 'endings' are basically the same with very minor differences.

Simply, this game needs PROPER endings, not the drivel that it is at current.
