Remove the superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools for his racist retweet
The Issue
On November 8, 2016 a "ReTweet" from the Baltimore County Public Schools superintendent Dallas Dance addressed teachers of students of only specific races to ask them to provide additional support and love after the election. The retweet was not professional and unbecoming of the head of county education, not to mention racist and indicative of inciting racism and political shaming. Mr. Dance failed to address the safety, love and protection of white students or students based on gender, religion, or sexual preference. Persons in power and in charge of educating an entire county should be held to a moral standard that ensures equal education for everyone under the public school system of the State of Maryland and the United States. I feel the attached tweet violated those rights of the students of the Baltimore County Public School System.
