If you've ever owned a PS Vita console, you might love it. In fact, you definitely love it! If you've been following the news about this console as I have, you know that Sony is not advertising or endorsing its own console much if at all and at present 3rd party developers seem to be the only people developing games which thankfully as of this writing are still developing.  According to Game Informer Magazine on an section about E3 2016, the Vita was not even mentioned. I fear this is a bad sign for the Vita and support may be dwindling to a close in the not too distant future and I would love it if we could make some noise about what a great console the Vita is.  The Vita is not a gimmick.  It is quite simply the best mobile gaming device that is available and may be the last mobile gaming device that we see for a very long time.

The Vita has had a deeply competitive lineup of titles that make other mobile consoles look stupid. Great games like Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, Uncharted Golden Abyss to name a few showcase the horsepower and content development teams have worked so hard to bring consumers.  The games themselves demonstrate console quality not found anywhere else in mobile gaming and I want the Vita to be recognized and remembered.  At present, 3rd party developers are still releasing games in North America where I am.  For how much longer, I am not sure, but with 100s of PS3 quality Vita games available, support for 100s of PSP and PS1 titles, PS4 remote play, and support for PS Now, it shocks me that the Vita does not have more fans and support and people buying content to keep the console living large.

This petition is to ask of the PS Vita community to sign and acknowledge that the Vita has been a great console to own alongside HOPE that developers of any shape or size will continue its legacy. This petition will not save the Vita (though I wish it could) but it is my hope that, in a Google search about the PS vita, this petition will be found along with the names of people who believe and still believe in what the Vita is capable of. I believe in the Vita. I think it's one of the greatest consoles ever made. I would like for you to sign this petition if you feel the same way:)
