Whereas:
The lighting on the new Greensville school is far in excess of what is needed in a country school,
The digital sign and lighting are in no way in keeping with the character of the area,
The excess lighting will kill the birds, insects, and mammals that have inhabited the area for centuries,
The school is on a bird migration path that the excess lighting will disturb,
The local inhabitants find the excess lighting and digital sign intrusive and unwelcome
The excess lighting is an extravagant and unnecessary waste of tax payers money
The cost for the excess hydro should be spent on teachers and teachers aids

We the undersigned demand the immediate and complete removal of the digital sign and the reduction of lighting on the school property back to the level it was before the new school was built.

A small sign could replace the electronic one. The lighting could be off except when there is an event in the school.
