The Issue

This is the touching story of Baby, the neighborhood deer, who is more than just an animal - he's a certified Emotional Support Animal. The owner of Baby, who wished for him to offer much-needed comfort from struggles with depression and anxiety, attained both a certificate and license acknowledging Baby's special role. Despite presenting this certified evidence to the game warden, Baby is being wrongfully removed on the grounds of him being a wild animal. This action disregards the significant emotional bond between the owner and Baby and contravenes the purpose of Emotional Support Animals.

Furthermore, although there are accusations claiming that Baby is aggressive, no substantial evidence was provided by the game warden. It is worth noting that issues about alleged aggressive behaviors of Emotional Support Animals are typically evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not immediate grounds for removal.

Taking Baby away, not only distresses his owner but also can potentially induce unnecessary stress on Baby's wellbeing, disregarding the benefits and necessity of Emotional Support Animals to individuals suffering from various emotional, and psychological conditions. This story isn't just about Baby, it is about the countless other certified support animals and their owners that could face similar situations in the future.

Let's unite to protect Baby's rights and the owner's wellbeing, and strive for fair treatment of all Emotional Support Animals and the individuals who depend on them. Your signature can make a powerful statement that Emotional Support Animals, in all forms, deserve recognition and protection. Please help Baby stay.
