Due to recent breakdowns of the lift in town centre would like to see pressure put on the relevant owners to restore ramp facility to the upper tier, allowing better access for the elderly/disabled/wheelchair users/ parents with prams etc this has also had a huge impact on businesses situated on that level as footfall has inevitably suffered as a result.

At present the only access given the ongoing issues with the lift, is a flight of stairs which are treacherous when wet after rain, a growing number of people have relayed their concerns over this clear safety hazard & have either experienced falling due to slips themselves or have seen others suffer a similar fate.
