Our children are in school about 180 days a year for at least 13 years of their lives while growing and developing their minds and bodies.  What our children are fed in school is as important as what they are being taught.  Studies have linked GMOs to various health risks.  Pesticides have been linked to a wide range of health hazards from short to long term illnesses, fatal diseases, several types of cancer, behavioral disorders, disruption in brain development, systemic poisoning, ETC.  Public schools should hold our children's health and well being as high priority and serve 100% organic and non-gmo breakfasts and lunches.
