CAT DECLAWING IS ONE OF THE MOST INHUMANE UNNESSARY PROCEDURES TO PREFORM ON A CAT NOT TO MENTION PAINFUL.

Cats need their claws to protect and fend for themselves. Climbing to escape predators in not made easier. I understand that clawing of the furniture can be to put it bluntly "A right pain in the rear end" But cats need to scratch. We recently found a starving dying cat who had been attacked over and over again it has no fur on its ears or face and part of its nose is missing and it has no claws. After 3 weeks of constant good food and water she is starting to look healthy. But this could have been avoided.. We need to change this. Its not right!!!

When a vet declaws a cat they remove the end bone in their toes.

They are in pain walking, scratching in a dirt box and many simple animal behaviours become difficuilt and painful.
