In March 1941, Joe Simon and Jack Kirby created the comic book character Steve Rogers/Captain America, a superhero who stood for a symbol for hope and freedom and was created to fight the Nazis in World War II.  Marvel later revealed that Captain America ended up being frozen in suspended animation for decades and he awoke in modern times to become the leader of one of Marvel's most popular superhero teams, the Avengers.  Since then, Captain America has become one of Marvel Comics' most popular and iconic heroes and is one of the few superheroes worthy enough to lift Thor's hammer Mjolnir.  Currently, in "Steve Rogers: Captain America" #1, it is revealed that Captain America is actually a villain, an agent of Hydra and apparently has been working for Hydra since before he took the Super-Soldier Serum that gave him his powers.  Captain America has now changed from a "boy scout" superhero who inspired hope and freedom to fans to becoming the very thing he hates and his creators had him fight against.  Steve Rogers/Captain America deserves better.  He is not a villain.  He is not a Hydra agent.  He is not a traitor to his country.  Captain America is a good man, a hero and a legend.  We, the fans, want to see this "Captain America is a Hydra agent" nonsense undone as soon as possible and to have Captain America remain a hero fighting against the forces of evil once more.
