The Issue

In a recent interview for IGN, Julian Eggebrecht of the defunct Factor 5 studio revealed that they had finished a Star Wars: Rouge Squadron game on the Wii before the company was shut down meaning that the game never saw the light of day.

The game features Wii Motion Plus motion along with traditional control schemes. It also features Speeder Bikes, third-person action sequences and 1:1 controlled Lightsabre battles. Eggebrecht also referred to it as "the technically most impressive thing you would ever see on Wii.".

I propose that Disney uses this great opportunity to finally release this game using the Wii U's eShop. The Wii U is already capable of playing Wii games so porting should not be an issue and as the game is already finished and would be distributed digitally meaning that costs would be at an absolute minimum. The Rogue Squadron games sit very fondly in the minds of many gamers and I'm sure many people would be itching to play this game.
