Waterball Enduro trail Wahroonga
The issue
The Waterball Enduro Mountain bike trail has been in construction for over a year, has not damaged the beautiful surrounding bushland in any way and has brought together so many kids in the local community in its construction and use. It has had many hundreds of hours spent in its building, design and maintenance, sadly not the case with many of the council built trails. It allows a level of riding not currently available in Wahroonga or Turramurra.
While this trail has not been authorised by council it is allowing many people into an area of the bush not accessible to be enjoyed before for both walkers and riders. Council has authorised destruction of 36 trails across Kuringai area. While some of these are not actively being used or maintained this trail is being used daily by many. Please let council know how much of a growing need Kuringai has for trails like these and what a waste it would be to destroy it.
Please email dgreenfield@kmc.nsw.gov.au
and cspencer@kmc.nsw.gov.au
to let them know how much of an asset this trail can be to our local community
