Ban loudspeakers at religious places in India

Ban loudspeakers at religious places in India
The Issue
Of late it has been repeatedly observed that loudspeakers at religious places have become the cause of communal tension, eventually leading to communal riots. Not only is it noise pollution but it also threatens the very safety of the peace loving citizens of this country. Loudspeakers were not invented before 1861, yet Prophet Mohammed, Hindu saints, Guru Nanak Dev and Christian Missionaries preached religion without the help of loudspeakers. In several Islamic countries, the use of loudspeakers is prohibited in their mosques.
Readers are urged to join hands and sign this petition which is in support of the PIL filed in the Supreme Court of India (Writ Petition (Civil) 752 / 2014). Your signature will be treated as an endoresment to this cause.
Incidentally, there are several SC judgements directing the reduction of noise pollution level of loudspeakers in every place, yet no government ever bothers to abide by the directions of the Apex Court. Hence, the ban would also control noise pollution. As is evident, loudspeakers installed at religious places emanate sound much higher than the prescribed limits and are used irresponsibly a majority of times.
That the issue, relating to loudspeakers installed at religious places of different religions, has for decades given way to communal disharmony, riots and murders of innocents. This has brought disrepute to our nation for a very long time.
Originally, all religious places were the main source to attain peace, calm, tranquility and meditation. The purpose of bhajan/aarti, namaz or shabad is to enlighten the human soul and establish high moral values of which compassion and courage are foremost. The same should be restored by the Hon'ble Supreme Court to increase human worth and safety, and establish respectful co-existence of all religions in India. The Hon'ble Bench has directed to submit more data in support of the petition. Readers are requested share this and send whatever data they have in support of this cause.
