The Pavilion at Shroggs Park, long used by local people for football teams (Junior & Senior), bowling club, weekly 5km Parkrun, animal lovers, and park events has fallen into disrepair. The showers are dry, the sporting equipment has been moved out, the toilets no longer flush. The roof has holes in it, and rain is getting in. If not dealt with soon, the building will have to be condemned and possibly demolished.

We want the pavilion to be bought back into use, and we’re petitioning Calderdale Council to carry out repairs to the roof immediately. It’s a relatively small building and it shouldn’t be too expensive to repair.

Please sign the petition to help us get the pavilion repaired and the facilities bought back into use, it would be a tragedy to lose a prominent centre piece to Shroggs Park.
