It is my understanding that the majority of rate payers & residents expressed disapproval of the business in Gaskill Street going ahead,the business being a 24 hour service station.  The disturbance it will cause to local residents in the area,  serious environmental impacts and detrimental effects on Businesses potentially destroying the heritage of the town. Noise pollution due to the case it will operate 24 hours. Tourism being impacted by the business as it will dramatically distract from the wonderful historical street scape that brings people to the town. 

Additionally a failure by Cabonne Council to consult and communicate effectively about a Major Developments taking place to residents.
