We are business leaders from across the country who believe too many people in too many States have been suffering from slow or no economic growth.

We are tired of the suffering and loss of human potential created by an under-performing economy.

We declare that States that want to grow their economy just need to let free markets and limited government take root.

We underscore that the Prosperity States Initiative would do just that.

The Prosperity States Initiative would free local communities to hit the reset button on big government and jobs killing regulation.

It would empower citizens to replace the "spaghetti code" of anti-business, anti-competitive, and anti-growth laws with the state-of-the-art in pro-business, pro-competition and pro-growth governance.

The Initiative would not be forced on anyone. It would be driven entirely by consent of the governed, from the grassroots-up.

And the Prosperity States Initiative would cost nothing more than the personal responsibility that goes along with having freedom.

By joining in this Petition, we declare our support for the Prosperity States Initiative as business leaders.

We further declare that any State allowing communities to establish Prosperity Districts would strongly motivate us (and many other people in our business networks) to invest time, energy and resources to help create jobs and wealth that would not otherwise exist in those communities and States.
