Safe Zone in Indonesian Rainforest!!!!

Safe Zone in Indonesian Rainforest!!!!
The Issue
It is time that we demand a safe zone in the Indonesian rainforest.
Indonesia holds the world's third largest rainforest. It is home to 10% of the world's known plant species, as well as 12% of mammal species such as tigers, orangutangs, and elephants. Indonesia is in the lead for the most species of mammals, but also in the lead for the most threatened mammals. The destruction of the rainforest due to production of palm oil is driving many species near extinction.
Palm oil is the number one reason for deforestation in Indonesia, as well as a big factor in global warming with the amount of CO2 it releases when cut down. Overall, it often violates human rights and threatens the existence of many endangered species of animals which we cannot afford to lose.
It is predicted that 98% of the rainforest will be gone by 2022. These are not numbers we can live with.
We have just created a safe zone in Antarctica, but why stop there. Demand a safe zone in the Indonesian rainforest to protect the animals, people, and our planet.
