We, donor conceived people, deserve to know who our biological parent(s) are. We deserve to know about our bio family and medical history. This is a basic human right. Many other countries have already outlawed anonymity, now America needs to end it as well!

Our rights are taken away before we are even born. Reproductive industries sacrificed our right to know our bio father or mother so they can make more money. So they can get more "donors." Anonymity is easiest for the parent seeking reproductive help, for the "donor," and easiest for the cryobanks. When are our rights ever considered? No one bothered to consider the consequences or to try to set up a system that is fair to all parties.

We do not know half or more of our lineage; this includes medical information and information that could tell us about our heritage that contributes to our sense of self and identity.

This is WRONG.

We need this to change. Anonymity has to go.
