Poppy, aged 7, was playing at the park next to Mooloolaba Surf Club and noticed a young boy in a wheelchair who was unable to access the park due to there being no disability( wheelchair)  access to the playground. This was not the first time she had noticed this, but this time it really hit home. She asked her mum how they could help, and this was the start of their mission! Poppys vision - Mission to bring inclusion and unite in friendship .

After meeting with Cr Joe Natoli, they have started a petition to the Sunshine Coast Council to have the playground become more inclusive for those living with a disability. 

We the undersigned respectfully request the Sunshine Coast Council to urgently provide full disability access to the children’s playground on the Mooloolaba foreshore located between the Loo with a View and the Mooloolaba Surf Club. 

Further, ensure a children’s playground remains located between the Loo with a View and the Mooloolaba Surf Club in any future upgrades or redevelopments of the foreshore.
